Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair has said that great Sufi Saint Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar (RA) rendered matchless services not only for Sindh but entire sub-continent. He said this while inaugurating the three-day 765th annual Urs celebrations by laying floral wreath and offering Fateha on the shrine of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, here on Monday.

Senior Minister Nisar Ahmad Khuhro, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Special Assistant to CM Sindh Syed Ghulam Shah Jilani also present on the occasion. Zubair stated that Sindh has remained land of peace throughout history but some elements were trying to sabotage the peace here adding that such anti-state elements and enemies of peace would be dealt with iron hands. He said effective security measures have been made for safety of devotees and to maintain peace during annual Urs celebrations.
